Description

The KY-PM series electro-optic phase modulator uses the electro-optical effect of lithium niobate crystal to realize the phase modulation of optical signals, and uses titanium diffusion or proton exchange process to fabricate optical waveguides, which can realize phase modulation of double polarization or single polarization. It has the characteristics of low insertion loss, high modulation bandwidth, low half-wave voltage, and high damage optical power, and is mainly used in the fields of optical chirp control in high-speed optical communication systems, phase delay in coherent communication systems, optical sideband generation, phase modulation in quantum communication, and reduction of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in analog optical fiber communication systems.
